Indications

Claforan 0.5g 1Vial Inj is primarily indicated in conditions like Arrhythmias after myocardial infarction, Bacteremia, Cellulitis, Gonorrhoea, Gynecological infections, Infilteration anaesthesia, Meningitis, Obstetric infections, Osteomyelitis, Peritonitis, Respiratory tract infections, Surgical prophylaxis, Urinary tract infection.

Contraindication

Claforan 0.5g 1Vial Inj  is contraindicated in conditions like Renal diseases, Hypersensitivity.

Side Effects

The severe or irreversible adverse effects of Claforan 0.25g 1Vial Inj , which give rise to further complications include Thrombocytopenia, Eosinophilia, CNS toxicity, Leukopenia.Claforan 0.25g 1Vial Inj produces potentially life-threatening effects which include Pseudomembranous colitis. which are responsible for the discontinuation of Claforan 0.25g 1Vial Inj therapy. The signs and symptoms that are produced after the acute overdosage of Claforan 0.25g 1Vial Inj include Encephalopathy. The symptomatic adverse reactions produced by Claforan 0.25g 1Vial Inj are more or less tolerable and if they become severe, they can be treated symptomatically, these include Vertigo, Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhea, Fever, Rashes, Pruritus, Hallucination, Thrombophlebitis, Pain at injection site.

Warnings

Claforan 0.5g 1Vial Inj  should be used with caution in patients with impaired kidney or liver function. Appropriate measure should be taken if secondary infection occurs.
