Description

Overview

Des Eze 5mg Tablets is a phenothiazine similar to chlorpromazine. Des Eze 5mg Tablets is used to treat symptoms of certain types of mental or emotional conditions such as anxiety, tension and agitation. Des Eze 5mg Tablets is also used to treat nausea and vomiting.

Indications

Des Eze 5mg Tablets is primarily indicated in conditions like Agitation, Anxiety, Diagnostic procedures, Enhance permeation of SC or IM. inj, Muscle spasm of varied aeitology, Nausea and vomiting, Psychosis, Schizophrenia, Severe nausea and vomiting.

Contraindication

Des Eze 5mg Tablets is contraindicated in conditions like Blood dyscrasias,Bone marrow depression,Coma, Liver diseases.

Side Effects

The severe or irreversible adverse effects of Des Eze 5mg Tablets, which give rise to further complications include Tardive dyskinesia.The signs and symptoms that are produced after the acute overdosage of Des Eze 5mg Tablets include Hypotension, Akathisia, Torticollis, Dystonic syndrome. The symptomatic adverse reactions produced by Des Eze 5mg Tablets are more or less tolerable and if they become severe, they can be treated symptomatically, these include Dizziness, Drowsiness, Anorexia, Insomnia, Dry mouth, Blurred vision, Postural hypotension, Lassitude, Motor restlessnes, Dyskinesia, Dystonia.

Warnings

Des Eze 5mg Tablets should be used with caution in patients exposed to extreme heat or phosphorus insecticides, patients in state of alcohol withdrawal, patients with history of peptic ulcer, allergic reactions, with renal (kidney) impairment, prostatic hypertrophy. Photosensitization may occur, caution patients against exposure to sunlight or UV light. Discontinue use atleast 48 hrs.before myelography
