Description

Indications 

Onset 8mg inj is primarily indicated in conditions like Moderately emetognic chemotherapy or radiotherapy, Nausea and vomiting (chemotherapy induced), Post operative vomiting, Post-operative nausea, Post-operative nausea and vomiting, Prevention of post-operative nausea and vomiting, Severely emetognic chemotherapy.

Side Effects 

The severe or irreversible adverse effects of Onset 8mg inj, which give rise to further complications include Cardiac arrhythmias. Bronchospasm, Cardiac arrhythmias, Bradycardia, Bronchospasm, Angioedema, Angina, Angioedema, Hyperbilirubinemia.,The signs and symptoms that are produced after the acute overdosage of Onset 8mg inj include Constipation, Dizziness, Headache., The symptomatic adverse reactions produced by Onset 8mg inj are more or less tolerable and if they become severe, they can be treated symptomatically, these include Dizziness, Headache, Fever, Dyspnea, Constipation, Abdominal pain, Chills, Hypotension, Flushing, Hiccups, Xerostomia, Vision disturbances, Reaction at injection site, Warmth sensation, dizziness, Hypotension.

Contraindication 

Onset 8mg inj is contraindicated in conditions like Hypersensitivity.

Warning

Dosage restriction is advisable in patients with moderate to severe liver impairment. Onset 8mg inj should be used with caution during pregnancy or lactation. Care is required in the patient exhibiting hypersensitivity to other selective 5HT3 receptor antagonists and in patient with signs of subacute intestinal obstruction.
