Indications

Rocephin 1gm 1vial IV Inj  is primarily indicated in conditions like Bacteremia, Benign gastric, duodenal or NSAID-associated ulceration, Bone and joint infection, Chancroid, Endocarditis, Enteric fever, Gonococcal infections, Gonorrhoea, Lower respiratory tract infections, Lyme disease, Meningitis, Pneumonia, Pophylaxis of cardiac transplant rejection, Pophylaxis of hepatic transplant rejection, Septicaemia, Skin infections, Soft tissue infections, Surgical prophylaxis, Sympathetic block, Syphilis, Typhoid fever, Urinary tract infection.

Contraindication

Rocephin 1gm 1vial IV Inj  is contraindicated in conditions like Hypersensitivity.

Side Effects

The severe or irreversible adverse effects of Rocephin 1gm 1vial IV Inj , which give rise to further complications include Jaundice, Jaundice, Eosinophilia, Eosinophilia, Leucopenia, Neutropenia, Thrombocytosis, Erythema multiforme, Biliary pseudolithiasis, Hyperbilirubinemia, Erythema multiforme.Rocephin 1gm 1vial IV Inj  produces potentially life-threatening effects which include Agranulocytosis, Pseudomembranous colitis. which are responsible for the discontinuation of Rocephin 1gm 1vial IV Inj  therapy.The signs and symptoms that are produced after the acute overdosage of Rocephin 1gm 1vial IV Inj  include Burning sensation. The symptomatic adverse reactions produced by Rocephin 1gm 1vial IV Inj  are more or less tolerable and if they become severe, they can be treated symptomatically, these include Loose stools, Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhea, Maculopapular rash, Urticaria, Pruritus, Local pain, Glossitis, StomatitisX, Edema, Local phlebitis.

Warnings

Rocephin 1gm 1vial IV Inj should be used with caution in patients with impaired kidney or liver function. Appropriate measure should be taken if secondary infection occurs.
