Optifam 40mg Tablets
Indications
Optifam 40mg Tablets is primarily indicated in conditions like Benign gastric and duodenal ulceration, Benign gastric ulcer, Duodenal ulceration, Duodenal ulcer, Duodenal ulcer relapse prophylaxis, Reflux oesophagitis, Zollingerellison syndrome, and can also be given in adjunctive therapy as an alternative drug of choice in Dyspepsia, Heart burn.
Contraindication
Optifam 40mg Tablets is contraindicated in conditions like Hypersensitivity, Gastric malignancy.
Side Effects
Optifam 40mg Tablets produces potentially life-threatening effects which include Blood dyscrasias. which are responsible for the discontinuation of Optifam 40mg Tablets therapy. The signs and symptoms that are produced after the acute overdosage of Optifam 40mg Tablets include Hypotension, Tachycardia, Emesis, Restlessness. The symptomatic adverse reactions produced by Optifam 40mg Tablets are more or less tolerable and if they become severe, they can be treated symptomatically, these include Dizziness, Headache, Diarrhea, Constipation, Bradycardia, Jaundice, Mental confusion, Hypotension, Renal failure, Epidermal necrolysis.
Warnings
Optifam 40mg Tablets should be used with caution in patients with impaired kidney or liver function. Intravenous injection should be given slowly and intravenous infusion is recommended in patients with cardiovascular impairment
