Description

Indications 

Novomix 50 Flexpen is primarily indicated in conditions like Diabetes mellitus.

Side Effects 

The symptomatic adverse reactions produced by Novomix 50 Flexpen are more or less tolerable and if they become severe, they can be treated symptomatically, these include Local reactions, Fat hypertrophy at injection site, Swelling of feet.

Contraindication 

Novomix 50 Flexpen is contraindicated in conditions like Hypoglycaemia, Hypersensitivity to any component of product.

Warning

The human insulin analogues, insulin lispro and Novomix 50 Flexpen, have a faster onset of action and shorter duration of action than soluble insulin; as a result, compared to soluble insulin, fasting and preprandial blood-glucose concentration is a little higher, postprandial blood-glucose concentration is a little lower, and hypoglycaemia occurs slightly less frequently. Novomix 50 Flexpen should be used with caution in patients with renal impairment (May need dose reduction).
