Indications
Lecetam Tablet 250mg is primarily indicated in conditions like Anxiety, Epilepsy, Myoclonic seizures, and can also be given in adjunctive therapy as an alternative drug of choice in Alzheimer’s disease, Autism, Iron deficiency anaemia, Neuropathic pain, Tourette’s syndrome.
Side Effects
The severe or irreversible adverse effects of Lecetam Tablet 250mg, which give rise to further complications include Thrombocytopenia. Neutropenia, Pancytopenia.,Lecetam Tablet 250mg produces potentially life-threatening effects which include Hepatic impairment, which are responsible for the discontinuation of Lecetam Tablet 250mg therapy.,The symptomatic adverse reactions produced by Lecetam Tablet 250mg are more or less tolerable and if they become severe, they can be treated symptomatically, these include Weakness, Dizziness, Vertigo, Headache. Drowsiness, Ataxia, Alopecia, Anorexia, Nervousness, Rashes, Depression, Somnolence, Tremor, Diplopia, Asthenia, Aggression, Alopecia, nervousness, Nervousness, dizziness, Ataxia, Weakness.
Contraindication
Lecetam Tablet 250mg is contraindicated in conditions like Breast feeding.
Warning
Lecetam Tablet 250mg should be used with caution in patients with hepatic impairment (Halve dose in severe hepatic impairment due to cocomitant renal impairment); renal impairment (May need dose reduction a/c to creatinine clearance); pregnancy (use only if potential benefits outweighs risk); avoid sudden withdrawl.
