Indications
Fastum Topical Gel 30 gm is primarily indicated in conditions like Ankylosing spondylitis, Bursitis, Gastro-oesophageal reflux disease, Gout, Lumbago, Management of cushing’s syndrome, Musculoskeletal disorders, Osteoarthritis, Pain, Rheumatic diseases, Rheumatoid arthritis, Synovitis, Tendinitis, Tenosynovitis, and can also be given in adjunctive therapy as an alternative drug of choice in Dental pain, Dysmenorrhoea, Fever, fever, Infections, Migraine, Orthopedic manipulations.
Side Effects
The severe or irreversible adverse effects of Fastum Topical Gel 30 gm , which give rise to further complications include Reduced GFR (glomerular filtration rate), Acute interstitial nephritis, Platelet dysfunction.Fastum Topical Gel 30 gm produces potentially life-threatening effects which include Gastrointestinal hemorrhage. which are responsible for the discontinuation of Fastum Topical Gel 30 gm therapy.The signs and symptoms that are produced after the acute overdosage of Fastum Topical Gel 30 gm include Hypotension, Vomiting, Bronchospasm, Drowsiness, Abdominal pain, Gl hemorrhage. The symptomatic adverse reactions produced by Fastum Topical Gel 30 gm are more or less tolerable and if they become severe, they can be treated symptomatically, these include Vertigo, Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhea, Constipation, Photosensitivity, Skin rash, Dyspepsia, Gl upset, Bullous rash, dyspepsia, Gastric pain.
Warnings
Fastum Topical Gel 30 gm should be used with caution in patients with intrinsic coagulation defects and those on anticoagulant therapy. It should be used with caution in patients with compromised cardiac function, hypertension other condition predisposing to fluid retention. It should be used with extra care in the presence of existing controlled infection. Perform periodic auditory (hearing) function test during chronic therapy. Discontinue drug if skin reaction occurs. Fastum Topical Gel 30 gm is not recommended in the patient who have experienced a severe Aspirin hypersensitivity reactions. IM injection should be administered cautiouly to patient receiving Fastum Topical Gel 30 gm .
