Description
Indications
Desora syrup is primarily indicated in conditions like Perennial rhinitis, Urticaria, and can also be given in adjunctive therapy as an alternative drug of choice in Seasonal allergic rhinitis.
Contraindication
Desora syrup is contraindicated in conditions like Pregnancy, Porphyria, Breast feeding.
Side Effects
Desora syrup produces potentially lifethreatening effects which include Arrhythmias, Anaphylaxis, Angioedema, Extrapyrimidal symptoms, which are responsible for the discontinuation of Desora syrup therapy. The symptomatic adverse reactions produced by Desora syrup are more or less tolerable and if they become severe, they can be treated Symptomatically, these include Headache, Drowsiness, Fatigue, Myalgia, Palpitation, Dry mouth, Blurred vision, Urinary retensionX, Pharyngitis, GI disturbance, Dry mouth.
Warnings
Antihistamines (e.g Desora syrup) should be used with caution in prostatic hypertrophy, urinary retention, epilepsy, glaucoma, pyloroduodenal obstruction, hepatic diseaseg dose reduction may be necessary in renal impairment. Children and the elderly are more Susceptible to side-effects.
