Overview
Daplozmet Tablet 5/850mg is NSAID (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug). Daplozmet Tablet 5/850mg is a simple phenylacetic acid derivative. It resembles both flurbiprofen and meclofenamate. It reduces fever and inflammation and relieves pain.
Indications
Daplozmet Tablet 5/850mg is primarily indicated in conditions like Adnexitis Inflammation, Migraine, Post-operative pain, Post-traumatic pain, Rheumatoid arthritis.
Contraindication
Daplozmet Tablet 5/850mg is contraindicated in conditions like Gl ulceration, Hypersensitivity
Side Effects
The symptomatic adverse reactions produced by Daplozmet Tablet 5/850mg are more or less tolerable and if they become severe, they can be treated symptomatically, these include Dizziness, Vertigo, Headache, Rashes, Gl upset, Elevation of liver enzymes, Gl hemorrhage, Vision disturbances, Erythema multiforme.
Warnings
Diclofenac potassium should be used with caution in patients with intrinsic coagulation defects and those on anticoagulant therapy. It should be used with caution in patients with compromised cardiac function, asthma, hypertension and other conditions predisposing to fluid retention. It should be used with extra care in the presence of existing uncontrolled infection. Perform periodic auditory (hearing) function test during chronic therapy. Discontinue drug if skin reaction occurs.
High Risk Groups
Drug should not be given to Pregnant Mothers, and patients suffering from Kidney dysfunction. If prescribing authority justifies the benefits of the drug against the possible damages he/she should reevaluate them and consult the reference material and previous studies.
