Indications

Artem Plus Suspension 30/180 30ml is primarily indicated in conditions like Chloroquine resistant malaria, Complicated and severe malaria, Uncomplicated malaria.

Contraindication

Artem PlusSuspension 30/180 30ml is contraindicated in conditions like Pulmonary edema, Hypersensitivity, Pregnancy,Cerebral malaria, QTc prolongation,Breast feeding.

Side Effects

The severe or irreversible adverse effects of Artem Plus Suspension 30/180 30ml, which give rise to further complications include Retinopathy, Neurotoxicity, QT prolongation.Artem Plus Suspension 30/180 30ml produces potentially life-threatening effects which include Cardiovascular depression, Cardiopulmonary arrest. which are responsible for the discontinuation of Artem Plus Suspension 30/180 30ml therapy.The signs and symptoms that are produced after the acute overdosage of Artem Plus Suspension 30/180 30ml include Vomiting, Convulsions, Coma, Cardiopulmonary arrest.The symptomatic adverse reactions produced by Artem Plus Suspension 30/180 30ml are more or less tolerable and if they become severe, they can be treated symptomatically, these include Dizziness, Headache, Nausea, Vomiting, Anorexia, Diarrhea, Fever, Insomnia, Tinnitus, Abdominal pain, Sleep disturbancesX, Rashes, Urticaria, Pruritus, Itching, Sleep disturbance, Hypotension, Elevation of liver enzymes, Transient low fever, Abnormal gait, parasthesia, Decreased hearing.

 Warnings

Care should be taken when using to treat the women being pregnant with in three months or patients with severe vomiting. Administeration ofArtem Plus Suspension 30/180 30mlwith drugs that are metabolized by Cytochrome Enzyme CYP 2D6 like Flecainide, Metoprolol,Imipramine, Am itryptaline,Clomipramine should be avoided and Artem Plus Suspension 30/180 30ml should also be avoided with drugs that prolong QT interval.
