Description

Indications

Vidaylin Drop 10ml is primarily indicated in conditions like Hyperthyroid crisis, Hyperthyroidism, Sporotrichosis, Thyroid involution induction, Thyrotoxicosis, and can also be given in adjunctive therapy as an alternative drug of choice in Thyroidectomy.

Contraindication

Vidaylin Drop 10ml is contraindicated in conditions like Asthma, Hyperkalaemia, Acne vulgaris, Tuberculosis, Goiter, Hypersensi tivity,Bronchitis,Vasculitis, Thomsen’s disease.

Side Effects

The severe or irreversible adverse effects of Vidaylin Drop 10ml, which give rise to further complications include Eosinophilia, Eosinophilia, Hypothyroidism, Goitre, Goitre.Vidaylin Drop 10mlproduces potentially life-threatening effects which include Neutropenia. which are responsible for the discontinuation of Vidaylin Drop 10ml therapy.The signs and symptoms that are produced after the acute overdosage of Vidaylin Drop 10ml include Vomiting, Diarrhea, Coma, Fever, Delirium, Renal failure, Abdominal pain, Ventricular arrhythmias, Metallic taste, Lactic acidosis. The symptomatic adverse reactions produced by Vidaylin Drop 10ml are more or less tolerable and if they become severe, they can be treated symptomatically, these include Headache, Skin rashes, Urticaria, Arthralgia, Sneezing, Salivation, Conjunctivitis, Bronchitis, Enlargement of salivary gland, Vasculitis, Coryza, Vidaylin Drop 10ml toxicity, Skin rashes.

Warnings

Observed patients closely for acute iodide toxicity, if symptoms appear discontinue the therapy. It should be used with caution in patient with hyperthyroidism, cardiac disease or renal (kidney) impairment. Prolong use during pregnancy is not advised.
