Deslozon 5mg Tablets

Description

Indications 

Deslozon 5mg is primarily indicated in conditions like Perennial rhinitis, Urticaria, and can also be given in adjunctive therapy as an alternative drug of choice in Seasonal allergic rhinitis.

Side Effects 

Deslozon 5mg produces potentially life-threatening effects which include Arrhythmias, Anaphylaxis, Angioedema, Extrapyrimidal symptoms. which are responsible for the discontinuation of Deslozon 5mg therapy.,The symptomatic adverse reactions produced by Deslozon 5mg are more or less tolerable and if they become severe, they can be treated symptomatically, these include Headache, Drowsiness, Fatigue, Myalgia, Palpitation, Dry mouth, Blurred vision, Urinary retensionX, Pharyngitis, Gl disturbance, Dry mouth.

Contraindication 

Deslozon 5mg is contraindicated in conditions like Porphyria, Pregnancy,Breast feeding.

Warning

Antihistamines (e.g Deslozon 5mg) should be used with caution in prostatic hypertrophy, urinary retention, epilepsy, glaucoma, pyloroduodenal obstruction, hepatic disease, dose reduction may be necessary in renal impairment. Children and the elderly are more susceptible to side-effects.
