Description
Indications
Polypep 60ml Suspension is primarily indicated in conditions like Benign gastric and duodenal ulceration, Benign gastric ulcer, Duodenal ulceration, Duodenal ulcer, Duodenal ulcer relapse prophylaxis, Reflux oesophagitis, Zollingerellison syndrome, and can also be given in adjunctive therapy as an alternative drug of choice in Dyspepsia, Heart burn.
Contraindication
Polypep 60ml Suspension is contraindicated in conditions like Hypersensitivity, Gastric malignancy.
Side Effects
Polypep 60ml Suspension produces potentially life-threatening effects which include Blood dyscrasias. which are responsible for the discontinuation of Polypep 60ml Suspension therapy.The signs and symptoms that are produced after the acute overdosage of Polypep 60ml Suspension include Hypotension, Tachycardia, Emesis, Restlessness. The symptomatic adverse reactions produced by Polypep 60ml Suspension are more or less tolerable and if they become severe, they can be treated symptomatically, these include Dizziness, Headache, Diarrhea, Constipation, Bradycardia, Jaundice, Mental confusion, Hypotension, Renal failure, Epidermal necrolysis.
Warnings
Polypep 60ml Suspension should be used with caution in patients with impaired kidney or liver function. Intravenous injection should be given slowly and intravenous infusion is recommended in patients with cardiovascular impairment.
